Hi Guys, I'm back!!!! I have some Kasino Concert PA cabs here. They have 6 8" CTS original speakers in each one. They date to 1972. Well, one cab is missing a speaker... They need to be reconed or all the speakers replaced. The paper is blown off the edges of most of the speaker baskets. Some of them still make noise, but not for long, I'm sure. What I need to know is what are these worth? They are in very clean condition cosmetically, a little dusty from sitting, and they really need handles. One is sort of there, and the other is missing. They have been sitting at my church for a long time because they needed repair. If someone wants them, email me directly at either debraehart@hotmail.com or kustomblues@yahoo.com. Let me know what you'd pay for them, etc. I'll snap some pics of them and can email them to you. I'm located in Michigan and you'd have to pick them up. The church needs some money to finance some new PA equipment and the church is not large so money is an issue. The needs outweigh the money at the moment. Any equipment donations would be appreciated as well. Thanks and God Bless!

Unfortunaly Deb, that Kasino/ full on Baldwin stuff does not seem to comand much of a price even in great condition from what I have seen.
Those 8" CTS drivers where used in some other vintage tube amps like the Gibson/maestro GA-45T model with 4 8" drivers and some other odd ball brands that I can not recall right now, so it may be best just to Ebay off the speakers from both cabinets.
AS far as new good quility, priced right PA stuff goes, you can`t bet Carvin unless you go with used gear.
Anyway, thats my 2 cents!

I guess I did not make myself clear... I have the complete cabs that I need to sell. The speakers need to be reconed, and one basket will need to be located because there is one 8" missing. The grill assemblies are in darn near mint condition. If there are any Kasino kollectors that have need for these, for any reason, please contact me. Thanks!

I'm not real familiar with Kasino gear - they're "stripey", aren't they?

I don't suppose there's any relation to the old Alamo amps, some of which were striped, if I recall?

The grill clothes are very stripey. They have wide bands of silver against the black.

"stripey" is a good way to describe them
