Okay I have a kustom 150-2 guitar amp head. I got it from friend for 30 dollars a few years ago. The only thing is its missing the main fuse. Its on the right in side of the case. Can some one tell me what kind of fuse it is or a replacement.
Thanks

I will get back to you for certain tommorw, but a 3 amp slow blow would be fine and seems to be what I recall off the top of my head.

PS as your fuse is missing you should assume that the amp has a problem, so in that case get a 1.5 amp fast blow or the same rated circuit breaker from radio shack, jump int in with clip leads and see if it pops whan you fire up the head.

Marsh:
If the amp blows the fuse at power up, then the usual causes are (in order of occurence):
#1- Shorted Output Transistors
#2- Shorted Power Supply Rectifier
#3- Shorted Power Transformer.
Of course there can be a million other things as well.
I don't know how experienced you are, but if you don't know what you are doing, working on any line powered device can hurt or kill you. If you feel qualified, check the listed items. If you don't feel qualified, take the amp into the shop.

Of my three 250 heads only one that I perchased used had a blown output section, but the the fuse never blew. My guess would be that the output section is blown, which took out the bridge rectifier, which took out the fuse.I checked and it is a 3 amp slowblo fuse.
