I have seen posts here on how to install 3 prong power cords and where to get replacement cords... But what guage of wire in the cord is best?
Also, I just acquired a 2nd black Kustom K100C-8
amp. Can anyone tell me the year of manufacture?
Serial # 46005
Also what device should I use to run my guitar into both amps? Some sort of Y cord ? And where would I find the device needed?
thanks,
Steve

An 18 gauge power cord would be be about minimum, but it really depends on how long a cord you install.
Your serial number dates the amp to have been manufactured late in 1969.
A Y cord would work or an A/B box that would allow you to switch between one or the other amp. And some A/B boxes also have a A+B function.
A Y cord will be carried by a well stocked music store and maybe even your local Radio Shack. The A/B box will only be at a music store.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Until I bought these two K100C-8's, I had never seen a Kustom up close in person. Of course I saw CCR with theirs. I love these amp's bright sound and I see what all you Kustom owners have been talking about. By the way this is a fantastic sight.
