Hi! A "new guy" here. I've had Kustoms since the late 70's though. (Only the old plexi stuff though.) It's great to find a site like this with folks who arn't fooled into believing that the latest and greatest gear will make them better players! Of course, my question is: Has anyone found a good method for cleaning dusty, dirty, spilled-drink stained black grill material? I would love to hear of any recommendations. Thanks, John

I use Windex and a tooth brush for nasty stuff. A paint brush and a vacuum usually works for "clean" dust.

I just play loud, and hope for the best.

John: Take the speakers out of the cab and then mix up a solution of half very warm water and Simple Green, and get your vacuum cleaner and crevice tool ready. Take an old toothbrush and start using the solution and toothbrush to scrub it. Don't scrub too hard though. Wet and scrub an area of about 4" by 4", then follow behind with the crevice tool. This will suck the grungy solution out of it. Keep working until you've completed one scrubbing. Let it sit overnite and then go at it again. Repeat until it is clean. If you want to make the grillcloth look black, like it did when it was new, email me for my tip. Let me know how this works for you or if you have any questions. Kustom Blues Deb
