JC, I didn't know there was a question to the wattage of the wide panels. they are 100 watts rms at a 4 ohm load. Anyone have any other ideas? Don

well... I checked my cascade and my white frank heads last year and they were definitely 100...but I had my black head (you knoooww where this is going) last year on stage.. I had 14 2x15 cabs plugged into it and there was a tail wind of approximately 14.2 knots blowing off the back of the stage.. I had been particularly inspired by the cluster of slender blonde groupies that had gathered at the foot of the stage, their chanting throngs pulling beads of sweat from my fingers and I could tell my little mule atop all those cabs was feeling good..compared to the triplet stack of double wide AMpeg SVTs that the bassist had to use to keep up with me and the frantic look on the faces of the audio crew as they proceeded to hock their trucks to get more pa gear for the stage.. I figured my little frank head was running around 650 watts.. I blew 3 speakers that day..no not in my kustom gear..its was a sympathic reflux that my system set up..shattered the EVs in the PA system...they didn't charge me for it though...they were so impressed with the tuck n roll...they just smiled and asked if they could take a picture standing in front of the gear... I told them no problem..just stand next to the cabs..not in front of them..and about that time all the groupies came up and....What?...oh sure honey.. I'll take out the trash...sorry guys..gotta go..reality just called....ET

HahahahaHAAAH! I just about laughed my ass off!! ... although "sympathetic reflux" sounds like what I get after 11 or 12 beers ...

I'm new to the group but I've just snagged a Frank L-795 head only. Could be a while before I get her since she's travelling to Australia by slow boat, but hoo-boy am I looking forward to it!

If anyone has schematics I'd be much obliged, as I'll have to convert to 240V and three-wire ... apologies to the purists ... I'll probably use a toroidal transformer for noise suppression, and an IEC jack for the plug.

Glad to hear she's got a mean punch anyway...
