I am having my repairman put a 3 prong wire on my kustom 200 with the clipper circuit, am I an idiot for doing this please let me know ASAP so I can stop him!!I sing in a band and the reason I dont use my kustoms is getting shocked and that darn hum!!!!Any Advice would be greatly appreciated! Long live the purple light!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are using the Kustom as a working amp it is a very good idea to do this mod. I have had my lips zapped many times.....so I know the feeling. If you had a pristine show piece that never left the living room....you might consider leaving it original. I think Bud was the only person to put a long enough cord on an amp anyway!BC

Fried lips are not a good thing. Make the change. You can always put the original cord back on it when the unit becomes worth thousands of dollars....
