Has anybody ever used the Jensen C-12R with Kustom 100's?

Since the C-12N is 50 watts, the C-12N is the Jensen that Kustom supplied.

The C-12R is rated at 25 watts, but I figured since a pair would be wired in series for 16 ohms, the K100 puts out only about 36 watts at 16 ohms, so it might be OK.

Les - Everyone knows I don't know sh*t ~ But I thought you could get the Vintage Jensens in 8 and 16 ohm. Some even come in 4 ohm loads. Why not wire it to the 8 ohm load the head is looking for?

I have a 2x12 Jensen cabinet and it is loaded with the original Jensens which are 16 ohms wired in parallel for 8 ohms total. The K100-1 and K100-2 amps want a 8 ohm load for full rated output.

I have three univox amps with C12Rs, one 2-12 combo and 2 1-12 combos, and I love the sound of these with the seamed light weight cone that is made from a roll of paper and not paper pulp and the old C12N Jensenshad this type of cone also.
The vintage C12Rs where only good for 12 to 15 watts tops sp that be a guide to there useage, clean tones at high wattage are easyer on the speaker that distored square wave sounds at a lesser wattage where the average power is greater.
