Hello. I know this is a little off topic, but I figured someone here would have experience with this. I have a Crown Powertech 2 I use for bass. I was wondering, is it safe to run an 8 ohm load on one side of the amp, and a 4 ohm load on the other when split stereo? Thanks!

Yes, have no fear of running a soild state amp with a different load on each channel. You will have twice the wattage output on the 4 ohm side, so if you are driving the 4 ohm side into the yellow or near clipping the 8 ohm side will be clipping if it is feed the same signal level!
