I just picked up a fried K-250 70,s metal face amp. It's missing the power switch. I want to wire it with the flip on off switch and defeat the polarity switch. It has a three prong grounded power cord already on it. Does anyone have a diagram how to do this they could send me (cassent5150@hotmail.com[/email]). I have no clue why or where I would connect the green and red wires too. I know replacing the switch would be the easy fix but these licon switches are like impossible to find. Steve C

The red and green wires are DC voltage lines that power the switch's built in light bulb.
If you are removing the switch just cut and tape off the wires.
Somebody has found a switch that fits the hole in these amps at Mouser Electronics. If you search the forum, you can get the details.
