Hello Kustom members,
I know it`s maybe not the Forum to discus this matter, but I have problem to get info on the issue.I need a accutronic reverb for my Gibson Super Goldtone Ga-30RVH.When I bought the amp used, it came without the reverb tank.In the amp-manual it is described as a 3 spring accutronic unit (type 8, ?) I have a schematic ,but I don`t understand it.
Hope you can help.

Thank you Rodak, but I don`t have the impedance-info for the reverb number. I tryed to e-mail Belton/accutronic in Korea, but they never respond.

I would contact a music store that sells the Gibson line, and have them find out from Gibson service what part number replacement tank you need.

You need either a type 8 or type 9 tank. The 8 is the shorter one and 9 is the full length one.

I don't know how it mounts in the case, so you will need to figure out that part of the equation.

The schematic for your amp shows a tube driven reverb circuit, so the input transducer needs to be 10 ohm. The recovery circuit is again a tube stage, so just like a Fender tank the output transducer needs to be 2575 ohm.

So the tank code number should be 8 or 9 A B ? ? 1 ?

My educated guess would be 8AB2C1D.

I hope this helps.

Thanks, to all of you.
chicagobill you where right about the 2 options on reverb tanks.
I went to the local amp-guru and went home with 2 diffrent accutronic tanks:type 8 + 9. The type 8 seems to be the right one, and the tank code number is:8AB2C1B.(8 ohm)
Thanks again.
Peter
