I read a post regarding a harmonic clipper switch that is activated when knob (control) is turned. Are we talking about a footswitch or a switch on the pc board? My amp is an early K200A3 with the 2 circuit breakers on either side of the on/off switch. The clipper pot is just a regular pot and doesn't click when turned on. Also does the footswitch turn the effect off and on so if off it won't work without the footswitch? Does the footswitch do the selective boost and clipper seperate or together? My amp has the 4 pin jack for the footswitch.

I do not know about the "A" series but I have owned several of the "B" series model 4 amps and the switch definately CLICKS and the amp POPS when the clipper comes on. From that point the footswich will switch the effect off or on. BC

I have not owned one of the A serise amps, but I would take a guess that since the knob does not have a on/off position, that you would need a foot switch to get it to work.
