it was 1969..and this boy had a shiny black kustom K25C sitting under the tree with a big red bow tied on the top handle.. I have never been so excited in my entire life just knowing that christmas was days away and that amp was already sitting in the house!
anyway...my first little rig is still gleaming and sits proudly as the center piece to the rest of the kollection of this sick boy...so once I again I find myself just as proud, saying Merry Christmas to all...and to all... Play Loud! ET

Well maybe you apprecaited your Kustom even more at the time that you worked for it. I can't imagine just how wonderful it would be to have a new Kustom at christmas. Those were the cadillac of their times. Certainly one of the most beautiful amps of that period and not really surpassed much to this day. I got a new harmony guitar for christmas once . I sold it later but looking back I probably should have kept it for sentimental reasons. I may have hurt my moms feelings by doing that. But I was just a young dumb kid LOL.. I thought I needed the money to help differ the price on my next guitar some. Now I'm just as dumb and just older LOL.. Somethings never change.

This is my 5th Christmas as a Kustom owner......at least this time around. I can not see my self playing without one. 2003 has been a good year as I have turned a confirmed tube freak guitar player in my band into a Challenger combo user. He still uses the tube amp when apropriate....but the tuck and roll gets most of the notes now! The best thing about the Kustoms is the friends I have made.....and the brothers I have found! The sharing of experience and knowledge is fantastic on this site. The Best of the Christmas Season to all! Now, Santa.....What happened to my cascade 400 with twin JBL 3x15 cabinets????BC

I dunno but I'd sure like to have that cascade head you had or any 200 cascade head. I have two 2x15 cascade cabs since 1970 and have never found the head to match. They miss their mommie LOL..
