big apologies [message #1576] Mon, 03 June 2002 01:57 Anonymous Sorry to say that my computer has spent the past few days busily sending multiple viruses (viri?) to everybody in my address book.. (Some of you may be seeing various viruses from me.) Seems I contracted a whopper "symbiotic host" thing via a bootleg dvd that disabled my anti-virus software, which in turn directed me to a website that infected my systems with multiple viruses. I've been assured that what my computer has is, at this point, a very isolated and controlled issue, and it is NOT transmittable through email. Unfortunately, the viruses that it collected are.
