Last week I finally got tired of wrestling with the power cord on a K200B-1 I have been using. One of the cord wraps had been removed sometime in the last 40 years and the cord was always in the way. I had one cord wrap I had acquired who knows where and decided to remedy the situation. Then I thought while I was at it I might as well go to the three wire power cord to improve safety. A quick call to Pleat for guidance and I had it installed in about 10 minutes. The results were more than I expected. Some of the HISSSSSS went away and the amp is louder and the tone is fatter! Filter caps next! BC

Install the same way that you remove the old one. and take the green wire (green is ground world around) and ground it to the chassis at on of the bolts. There will also be a resistor in the area of the switch that you need to remove. It will have a really nice jug on one end that goes to a bolt and you can use it for your ground lug, just solider your ground wire to it. That is how I do all of mine.
Also Pleat is a very knowledgeable member of this site. If you want to post pics, you are going to have to get a photo bucket account or cloud account to upload photo's so you can get a link to post here for where they are stored.
