Hello. I have been considering giving my friend an offer on his pair of cascade '68 2x15 CTS cabs. They are in pretty good shape, but they've obviously have been used. If he lets me, how much should I offer him for both and maybe just for one? Thanks!

P.S.- as an incentive, i've been restoring them for him, so maybe he'll be more leniant haha

First does he wanna sell? If so two to two fifty I'd say is a fair price. I have a pair myself but of course they are not for sale.

cosmetics are everything....if there are tears in the tuck...worn corners, etc...then it looses value big time...if the cabs are 8.5 or better I'd pay as much as $200 ea...from there down I'd likely pass on them altogether unless I had a standing bar gig where I wanted the cabs on stage and they looked good from 10ft away...not meaning to sound like a snob about this, but with the kustoms its the look and when a really clean piece comes along, you'll wish you had you cash on hand....but yeah, if they are clean rigs...a pair of cascade 2x15s...way cool!

Are these 2x15 sirens?? I had a pair I sold 20 years ago to an Milwaukee inner city church for their PA. I was hoping to accidentally run across them and offer what I got for them so long ago. Boy, I could just kick myself.

Hello. No, they are the regular 2x15 bass cabs, no sirens. Thanks!

Hello. So $400-600 is a good range to ask for should he ever decide to sell them? Thanks!
