We have a 4 Channel Kustom 200 PA Head(Gold), Model# K200 B-5, Serial Number - 48503. There are no markings on the rear panel to ID the input/output connectors, we do not know what speakers to use with it 8 ohms or 4 ohms etc. If anyone can help date this and/or give us some info on the specs so we can use this with our kids we would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi,
SN 48503 was made 12/18/69 plus or minus about two weeks.

As you face the back of the amp, the two 1/4 inch jacks on the left side are the speaker outputs. You can use one or two 8 ohm speakers or one 4 ohm speaker. (You could also use one, two, three, or four 16 ohm speakers.)

The power output of the amplifier is 100 watts RMS at 4 ohms.

The RCA phono jack on the upper right is a recording output you could connect to a mixer.
The 1/4 inch jack on the lower right is a jack for a footswitch for the reverb. The reverb should still work without having a footswitch.

When you turn the amp on, you will probably hear a thump from the speakers - this is normal.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, it helps a lot. We will begin to mess around with it.

I have a B-5. You can do a lot with them. Watch out for the reverb as it can really thunder. Good luck!
