Kustom grill cloth
I just bought part number 261-800 from Parts Express.
I only needed a yard so it was 36" x 36" and it cost $12.50 + $8.82 shipping.

The grill cloth looks very close to the original black (approx 1966 to 1971).
The 3 threads that run vertically - it has them.

I bought some of that grille cloth based your advice. I found it to be a perfect match.
