What would the final ohm value be if I wire a 4 ohm and an 8 ohm speaker in parallel? I'm wanting to get to between 4 and 8 ohms so I can play either my K200B2 or my K100-2 through the same cab with good power results. Basically, can you mismatch ohm values like that and what I'm shooting for is 6 ohms splitting the difference of what each amp wants to see.

Hi teleman,
4 ohm + 8 ohm in parallel is 2.66 ohms - which is too low for the K200 or K100.
Wire them in series, which will be 12 ohms.

Just note that the 4 ohm speaker will be nearly twice as loud as the 8 ohm one, and as souch it will be taking the bulk of the wattage output also.
