I've never seen one of these till now. Owner says one channel for guitar and other for bass and was only made for a year or so. Each channel has vol. bass treble and a high/low plug. Also on the front are 2 fuses and on/off switch. Rear panel looks like wire mesh with just a speaker jack. Owner also says it's 50 watts. I'd love to know more about it and all I've found is a pic of a 795. Appreciate your help and Merry Christmas. Oren Cool

These were the early Kustoms made from 1965 to about Nov 1967, when K200A-1 production started.
Output is 100 watts.
For more info, search this site for "Frankenstein".
Also, find the Literature section and look at the "66 Ross catalog" and the "67 Ross catalog".

Thanks Les S - I've seen the term Frankenstein, but never really knew what it was about. Are these heads particularly valuable/collectable? What would be considered a good deal for a decent one? Thanks again. Cool

Yes, they are worth collecting as now where near as many where made as the latter K200 serise amps.
They put out 60 watts RMS and had a bit of a tone all of their own due to using a transformer as a phase splitter to drive the outputs which limits the high end somewhat.
The output stage also distorts in a much more ear pleasing way do to the amp having no output stage protection circuit (5 amp fuse instead)like the latter amp models.
