I live just north of Milwaukee and have been looking for a qualified Kustom tech to evaluate/repair some of the heads I've been acquiring at a rapid rate. I can do a few simple things myself, but I need someone who really knows Kustoms to check these out.

I would prefer not to ship the heads, for cost and hazard reasons, so I'd like to find someone within reasonable driving distance (an hour or two). I am not aware of anyone in Milwaukee who is a Kustom expert, and I don't want to go to just anyone with my stuff. I have had a couple of "false starts" on this already, and I just want to find someone who knows Kustoms and is reliable.

Appreciate any help.

Creedence + Kustom: a great combination.

You might want send a PM to chicagobill who is a tech and a meneber of this site, as he is not that far from you.

You might also try finding a electronics repair shop near you who has someone on staff like me or bill who is in the 50 year old age range and grew up fixing these type amp circuits 30+ years ago.

It seems a lot of the so called techs these days, are just board changers as that is the way you fix new stuff since its all micro circuits and can not be worked on.
