I need data on the following speaker.
Eminence themselves are no help due to its age.
I do know it was made by Eminence (67) and made in the 24th week of 1969 (6924) and 8-Ohm impedence.

This speaker was given to me gratis, and all I know is what I've already stated, and the dustcap is chromed. Any help would be appreciated.

What size driver is it?
Most 12" Kustom ciramic magnet drivers handled 50 to 60 watts and had a frequency range of 60Hz to 5000Hz.
If it had a alnico magnet like most of the 12" drivers used in the PA columes the drivers where rated at 25 watts.

It is indeed a 12" speaker. It has just the single magnet that inserts into the voice coil, no outer magnet ring other than what may be created with the method of mounting the magnet. (has the ring seal for the voice coil) (see ASCII art below, HOPEFULLY comes out right)

It looks like a Alnico magnet driver then.

This ceraimic and alnico magnet thing with kustoms must be quite a story, and I would love to gain some insight into why they chose to use a higher costing alinco magnet drivers in only some model amps and PA cabinets.
The only thing I can come up with is the weight issue difference came into play, since a alnico magnet driver is lighter. As a reference I give both of my 4-10" combo amps as use the alnico magnets as do some 2-12" combo amps, and all the 4-12" PA columes. I do not know about the 4-10" PAs, but I would think that they would follow the same pattern.

I should also make note that the much used in kustom amps Altec 418B 15" speaker is a alnico magnet model also.
