My k200b1 doesnt have the boost pushing two 15's. It sounds a little distorted. What will cause that?

There could be any number of reasons for the lack of power.

Start by figuring out where the problem circuit is. Are both preamp sides weak?

Do you have a multimeter? If you do, what are the voltages of the main dc power supply? Attach the black lead of your meter to the chassis and use the red one to read the voltages at the terminals of the two large filter cap cans.

You will be working on a live circuit here, so use caution.

There should be about + and - 40Vdc at the filter caps.

Let us know what you find.
