Well, I am told that this older Frankenstein head I have would've probably come originally with either a purple jewel or red jewel......no luck finding red amongst the Kustom crowd...........anybody have purple I could take off your hands??? Thanx..............Woody

I just bought a late stein head with the regular kustom control knobs and it has a red bulb cover.I have spare red , blue, purple,green and yellow. I can sell you one if you want, or you can go online to ampwares or vibroworld site and get them.

Hey Woodster, I have one, here waiting on you. Oh guys, the new ones you get are faceted (cut) different. The old ones are noticeably different. They are a little darker red too, and that's even after you clean the 30 years of cigarette smoke off 'em! I know because I have closely inspected them. 8)
