In the Kolor Katalog Supplements portion of this site's Literature tab, is a scan of the K200B-6 amps and cabinets page.

The 2+2J-6 model cabinet has 2x 10 inch speakers and 2x 15 inch speakers.... same height as a 3x 15 inch speaker cabinet.

What was those four speakers' impedance and how were they wired for the amp to see the preferred 4-ish ohm load?

The rear ported 2x 10 inch speakers are separated from the front ported 2x 15 inch speakers by a horizontal baffle board, I believe.

Have any of you guys seen one of these -6 cabinets with the back panel removed?
Do any photos of the -6 cabinet internals exist?

The verbiage states that the -6 amp has the Selectone boost feature, but all the heads pictured look like K200B-1 units: volume, treble, bass & bright knobs. Was the Selectone knob on the rear panel or did it replace the bright knob on one channel? Are these -6 amps rare as hen's teeth?

If these speakers were all 16 ohms each, they could have been wired in parallel to get an 4 ohm load; If they were 8 ohm speakers, they could have been wired parallel/series to get an 8 ohm load. Seems to me that going strictly parallel was probably the way it was done at least the most efficient. I have never ever seen one of these, but maybe Pleat or one of the other guys have. I can't imagine many of them were built and would think they are very rare.

The parallel wiring of all 16 ohm speakers makes sense.

I pulled these photos off ebay a year or so ago, but the amp face does not show.
IIRC, this amp sold for north of $1K.

This is the only -6 I've ever seen. The S/N on the cabinet is 4229, so it is January-March 1970 vintage:

All cabinets for the K200 series amps used 16 ohm speakers. A collector friend of mine owns a gold 2+2J-6 cabinet. The two 10" speakers are sealed off from the 2x15 speakers, and the 2x10's are vented out the back of the cabinet.
You won't notice a difference from a K200B-1 and the K200B-6 head. The three position selectone switch is located on the left bright channel in place of the on/off bright switch.

The K200B-6 heads are kind of rare in the fact they were only offered from late 69 to mid 71 when the slant metal face amps appeared.
