No secret there!!! I have a Jensen equipped K100 and I play my Gibson ES335 through it and I love the sound. That is the cleanest amp you will ever hear. I'm not a gritty rocker and the sound is pristine. If I need overdrive, I have a pedal for that. Have fun. Conrad

congrats byrus! glad you found your way home....we do love our kustom tones and yeah...stick a couple pedals in front of it and get ready for a whole new realm that wasn't even realized when the amp was first designed .....so many cool fx out there today..but most of them are running against cheap junk amps with all kinds of premp games of their own, even the higherend marshalls etc are running really lousy tubesfrom the factory.. I have to retube all my new stuff and do some other tech work to get them ready for the pro level work they were entended...the guys that wind up in ear shot of my kustoms are always amazed...and I love em more than anything else in the world at any price...kool endures...Play Loud!
