Hi, Just got an old Kustom TR12L amp (a red one) and was wondering what year they were manufactured ? Thanks ..BluzStringer

Welcome to the board!
I have one in red also, I belive it was late 1999 or 2000 when they came out.
This is not a vintage era kustom amp, but it does sound fairly good for its small 6" speaker, and the distortion that it has is better than a vintage era k200 serise amp.
Also the amp has enough room to install a far better 8" driver, but getting the amp chassie out is a real fight, as its stuffed so tight inbetween the tuck & roll covering that its almost like they slid the amp in the cabinet and grew the T & C around it!!!

Yeh its not a bad little practice amp. I play electric slide blues on a squire fender tele and yeh i have found that it has great tone... am lovin it Smile Hmmmm so its about 10 years old then... not bad... could be a vintage in a few more years Smile

Ohhhhh Geeeeeeeez Mate ! Sorry 'bout that ! Hey anytime ya want to come and get this horrible heatwave of many consecutive days of over 40 degress Celcius then be my guest and come and get it ! Right now its 9:30 am and its just off 40 degrees... it got down to 32 degrees Celsius last night... who could sleep... But hey i do appreciate the sentiment ... honestly i do... 'cause i have seen how its been really really cold up there... i mean i didnt know it snowed in Texas... gawd !!!!
Well all i can say now is ... Keep warm ... and i will try to keep cool Smile
