I just picked up a Kustom K250-4 Amp Head. I need a footswitch for the effects (trem, reverb, harmonic clipper) any ideas what model I should be looking for.

oh, and what is the best way to date this amp head?

Nobody offers a 3 botton foot switch so you have to make one,or go with 4 botton switch of any type even with LEDs as long as the switches are not the momentary type, the you just have to wire it to the proper connector and many of us here can help you with that or you can do a search for prevous post that have covered the wiring many times.
As far as dating the amp to the T, all the pot in the amp have a 8 diget date code starting with 137 than a dash, of the bell face of the power transformer has a stamped date code also.
