I just bought a 4 Channel Kustom V PA, I believe its a 130 watts, but I'm having trouble finding out what the ohmage output of the amp is? I have 100 watt speakers, 8 ohms and the amp will cut out after a few moments under load, I took it to backline (Amp repair place here in Vancouver and they said it was fine).

Any suggestions about what specs I should look for in speakers, for my Kustom V PA. For the first few moments before the shut down, it did sound great.

If you have piezo tweeters in your cabinets, that's why is heating up and shutting down. You need to place a 50 ohm 5 watt resistor in series. When Kustom first offered the older hard cover tolex PA's all their cabinets had the added resistor per cabinet.
I found out first hand years ago, I sold a kustom lll Monitor amp and a pair of 112T peavey monitor cabinets. The band brought the monitor amp the next day and said it got hot and quit. I plugged into a guitar cab we used for testing amps and it ran fine for 8 hours, gave it back to the band and they brought it back again with the same problem. I called Kustom and was told that kustoms need the resistor to keep the amp stable. Added the resistors to their peavey monitor cabinets and the amp is still in service today.
In answer to the impedance of the amp, it should run stable at a 4 ohm total load. The amp is rated at 130 watts.
