Well, that IS a nice amplifier, I must admit the color is quite eye-catching. This economy has everyone scaling back, though. There was a K-250 set-up in Boston with the bottom part of the cab ripped, and he wanted 750 for it. No, not the blue one that's often seen on Ebay and in Providence's craigslist, but a different one. I offered him 300. From what I can see, he's still trying to unload it.
In Florida there's a Frankenstein white setup that's going for 600. Considering how rare these things are, I'd say that's quite a bargain. For a simple 2x15 cabinet in black, I think a price of about 150-175 seems reasonable.
A guy in NH had a post for a B5 head for 250. I offered him 125. He basically told me he wouldn't sell for less than 165. A week later: 150. After that, 140. After that, he gave up and I now have a nice B5 head with a slightly weak Reverb tank that I got for 125. Now there's another B5 going for 200.
Somewhere in the midwest, someone with a gold sparkle T&R wants 600 for a B1 with matching 2x15s... good luck!

Excuse me. It's a B1 going on CL Boston right now for 200.
THe B5 head is going for 300... wow! Where are they getting these prices from? I mean, okay, they are awesome amps, but if you can't sell them and you want to get rid of them, you have to have a price that's appealing. I'd be willing to pay 500$ for an A4 or B4 (Hint, Hint)
There has been quite a few dreamers lately posting Kustoms for $1,000 to $2,500 that are worth maybe $300 to $400.
I think they just run the ads without doing the research to find a realistic value for their amp.
