Umm... not that I've found one (crosses fingers) and not that I found it on CL (So please don't look), how would I modify the head so that I could get the Harmonic clipper and all those functions on the right to work without a pedal? Again, not that I've located one, tee hee...

With the A model K200 heads with the 4 pin footswitch jack on the back is to ground all the wires to the chassis. The A3 head has harmonic clipper and selective boost. So only two of the 4 pins on the jack will be used. Simple change. Once you wire it, you will have to control the functions from the control panel.
It might be easier to install a 1/4" stereo jack on the back and wire the leads from the 4 pin to the stereo jack and then you can use any standard two button footswitch.

Wow, that was easier than I thought, actually. He told me the footswitch jack had actually fallen into the head (unscrewed itself, in other words).

Since I have not seen an A3 head before.....that you have not found or do not have.....what would the S/N be if it were to exist? I would guess late production "A" series 25xxx to 27xxx? BC Rolling Eyes

In that case I would be more concerned with those non-existant screws and nuts that use to hold that non-existant foot switch jack on the back of that non-existant amp!
If they are in there and rolling around you may have a real world short in the works!

Well, let me ask the non-existant guy who is asking his non-existant church if I can buy it without the non-existant twin 2x15 cabs... Lord Knows I already have two of these monsters in the real world, lol... as soon as he gets the go-ahead, we'll see... this invisible head has the same effects as an a4, but only on the right channel...

Well, this 'hypothetical' amp has now moved into the real world. It is in Wassau, Wisconsin, and he will ship it to me for 300$ plus whatever shipping is. Not bad =)

I asked him what the serial number is, but that was 5 min ago, so I'll wait patiently for a reply.

Now, in order for me to buy this, I'm going to unload a 2x15 cab in black that doesn't have casters. Anyone interested? After all, I'm back living with my dad for a few months and he's already threatening to throw the amp out on the street.

Not to worry about the screw rolling around, the screw that hold the pins in place are counter clockwise threads so if the screw did loosen up, it's inside the plug itself.

I'll probably be taking it apart the instant I get it anyway just to double check all the fittings and doodads. I'm going to take your advice, Don, and replace that with a regular footswitch pedal...

Well, considering it's in Wausau, I guess I'll have to drive up there and buy it for myself.
