I need some help identifying the correct fuse size for a 1968 Kustom K200A-1 amp. When got the amp it had a blown 7A fuse in it. I purchased a schematic for it, but it only calls for a "CB2 Input Overload."

I've read references here stating fuse sizes from 3A to 5A. I want to make sure I get the right size fuse.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

Hello, the K200A model uses a 3 amp fast blow type fuse.
In a pinch you could use a 2.5 amp slow blow type

Thanks! Now on to replacing the fuse and troubleshooting the amp.

I would use a 1.5 amp fast blow type to trouble shoot with as that may save some parts more parts from popping. The 1.5 amp will hold as long as their or no shorts or you do not need to run the amp up to full output.

Thanks... I'll do that. The only other visible damage is the the chassis appears to have bee dropped at some point as the power transformer brakets are bent!

Thanks again for the help,
