From working on a k200 last night it reminded me once again to do post on what type fuse this and other amps use.
This model use a clip in type fuse holder( some did, some did not) from the factory that uses a SFE type slow blow fuse which is shorter than the easy to find AGC type slow blow fuse.In fact the reason this amp came to me for repair was due to the fact that in the course of someone else reapiring a popped output stage in this amp they then stuck in a AGC type fuse which with enought vibration popped out of one end of the fuse holder and the amp cut out during a gig this guy was on.
So in short, if you are inside of you amp for what ever reason and it has a clip in style fuse holder check to confirm you have the right fuse in place, also while you are at it and if the amp is new to your kustom klan, check to see if all the output transistors on the bottom or back of the amp say RCA on them.
If not then check your fuse and confirm its the right amperage, as this k200 came to me with a 14amp fuse in it when it should have had a 3 amp!!!

Also on the fuse topic on one of my own amps that use the factory holder that takes a solder on fuse I made a change to simplify fuse changes in the furture should I have to.
I took a panel mount type fuse holder and soldered the end of it to on terminal of the original holder and then took a 2 inch long section of wire to make the other connection from the new fuse holder back to the other feed terminal of the original holder.
With this 5 minute mod now you can just slap in a new fuse and be done with it.

And when you are working on the primary side of the Power transfomer as with a fuse change or replacing the diode bridge, amke sure you have the amp unplugged from the wall outlet!
