I just received the Kustom handle I ordered from Monument Music.

They have the modern handle ($15.99 + $5.95 shipping) and the vintage handle ($19.99 + $5.95 shipping).
(The vintage handles are modified by their in house tech to fit vintage Kustom cabinets. The modern handles run about 1/2" wider than the original vintage handles and require modification for an accurate fit.)

They were out of stock but I still got it fast – I received it the next week.
They were easy to deal with, had good communication, and shipped it by Priority Mail.

I ordered the modern handle because it is cheaper.

Comparing the modern handle to the original Kustom handle:
1) The modern handle is about 1/2 inch wider.
2) On the modern handle the metal part is a brushed satin finish instead of chrome.
3) Instead of the rivets that hold the plastic to the metal handle, they use counter sunk Phillips screws.
4) On the modern handle the base plates are chrome and look close to the original.

Because the modern handle is 1/2 inch wider, to make it fit, I had to bend it and also I drilled the mounting hole a little (7/32 inch bit). Due to the bending, the handle was very tight so I put a drop of oil on each joint. It did not fit perfect but it is fine if you are not too fussy. My old handle was broken and the only other place to get a handle would be to wait until one comes up on ebay.
