I have a Kustom p.a. head I believe, Model K 300-5 Serial #102973. I have searched but couldn't really find much about it, like what year it was produced and how much it might be worth things of the sort. I found it in a basement but with some TLC I think it will be in pretty good shape. Thank you for your time and knowledge in advance!

Welcome to the place.

If you look at the literature section, under "Other T&R", you will find a section on PA systems. If you click on the 300 series page, is this the amp that you have?

If you search the forum for the serial number list, you will find some info as to approximately when your amp was manufactured.

As for price, check eBay completed listings to see what these heads have been selling for lately. Condition and color will make a huge difference in price.

Hi,
The year it was produced is about 5/20/73.
The K300-5 power ouput is 150 watts RMS.
For us to give you a value, please tell us the condition - do all channels work, does the reverb work on all channels, do all controls on each channel work OK, does the amp play loud and clear, any cuts or burns in the vinyl, are the handles in good condition, etc. Also please post pictures.

Here are the pics, handles are good and reverb works across the board, only two cigarette melted spot relatively small on top and about a 1 1/2"x2" tear on the bottom. The bottom is kinda rough from being tossed around throughout the ages. Some idiot cut and spliced the cord so I will be adding a new one. I don't have speakers to tell you about loud but when I did have it plugged into a set I remember it being really loud and not sounding bad.

As long as it still works well, I would say it is worth between $100 and $150.
