Thanks man! Yeah the neck is super thin so it takes some getting used to(my other guitars are a Les Paul and a Les Paul Junior)but I dig it. The sound is awesome through the Kustom amp, just a perfect match. I'm so glad I found it.

Congratulations! The guitar and amp look great together. Indeed, those necks are slim. The necks on the basses are considerably thicker and work great for me, but I've never taken to the guitars because of the shallow contour of the neck. It was very different to have a neck that thin back in the late 60s.
Glad you found the Hardy Boys cartoon. For those that missed it, I posted it here a few weeks ago.
If anyone here knows about other cases of Kustom guitar and bass product placements in TV, movies, or ads, please comment on the post. I am still curious.

That's pretty cool! They've got their kustom guitar right there in the promo still shot. Is that from an old TV Guide? Now we can finally see that sadly, the bass player has a normal old Fender... I wonder if the band that recorded the theme song actually used their Kustom equipment or if it was just eye candy on loan for the film shoot... You know that if you actually watch the cartoon, the animated Hardy's play totally generic looking cartoon guitars.
UPDATE:
Aha! I just checked out the link you provided. The bass player has a blue Kustom in alot of the photos. The guitar player a Gibson SG. And lots of tuck and roll in the backline!
Thanks for the link! cool!
