Hi All, New to the group... Where can I get some specs on the Kustom III head I use. It came with what appears to be a home made cab with one 15" speaker (4 ohm) and a cab with a large horn with two small horns. The former owner used it with an organ. I play bass, so use the 15" cab with an old cab of mine with a 12" cts bass speaker, not a particularly good mix of impedances, but it works. I am considering getting a pair of Carvin or Eminence speakers and building a new ported case. Just as a side note, back in early 70's I used a Kustom 200 with two 15" cts speakers. One of these days I hope to find another one, but the KIII does sound nice, just miss the tuck and roll! I have enjoyed all the posts, and have learned a lot, plus it brings up a lot of good old memories! Bill Parsons, KS

Bill, welcome aboard. The kustom 3 head you have is a 130 watt rms amp into a 4 ohm load. A 2x15 set up sounds like the way to go. You can safely run the amp with a 8 ohm load also. To bad I'm in michigan, I have a couple of extra T&R 2x15 cabinets I am going to be parting with. Don
