Just got a digital camera and put some pictures up on http://www.printroom.com/ViewAlbum.asp?userid=Siggy&album_id=60649&image_id= I hope this works. I already know that the captions I put on the pic's didn't show up. Anyway this is my '65 J495RV with 15" JBL D130's. I bought it new and a week later our equipment manager took it to a sound specialist who pulled the fibergass out of the cab, replaced the Jensens with the JBL's and built a "Y" baffle to enhance the bass. This is an un-ported guitar amp and I was playing a Gibson EBO bass through it. It really improved the sound. All comments welcome Siggy

I would have used D140's for bass.

Siggy my friend, that is one beautiful rig. Before this turns into a platform for yet another speaker preference discussion, let me just add my two cents by saying JBL test records will confirm that your equipment manager made the proper choice for a non ported cab. Apparently (at least in the mid 60s when your change was made) it has something to do with the d130s whatsit blah blah, vs the non baffled/non ported hoody hoo haha. (forgive me for my technical outburst) What I REALLY need to say is THAT RIG IS SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL! ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! A COMPLETE KNOCKOUT! DROP DEAD GORGEOUS ENVY OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD, PRETTIER THAN MY HOT TROPHY WIFE BEAUTIFUL! Not to mention it's historical significance. It's a real treasure. Please don't let any of us talk you into parting with it. I'm sincerely happy for you that you had the forethought and good sense to have kept such a wonderful piece all these years. Thank you for sharing it with us. j

Thanks for your enthusiastic response. If only I knew...I would have taken even better care if her..but then I'd still have my baseball cards and the first 24 issues of The Fantastic 4 and Spiderman comics too! Siggy
