I finally got to try the module out jack on the back of my K 250-4.
I'm guessing it's just a pre-amp out, right?

Well, I was browsing Craig's List the other day and came across a couple of speaker columns cheap. Poor condition.
One had an amp in the bottom of it.
Long story short, I was able to make one complete unit from the pair.
It's a Yamaha PS-100.
Can't find any information on it anywhere.

8-8" speakers and a power amp that I'm guessing is 100 watts.

I cleaned it all up, new grill cloth, paint and rewired as necessary.

I plugged this into my Module output, switched it on.
Holy crap! LOUD and very clear sound.

If anyone has information on this monster, please let me know!
Thanks.

Thanks.
Yeah, I went to their site, but the closest I could find is the PS-100B that doesn't match completely.
I completed a form and am awaiting a reply.

I found a guy in Austrailia that has a pair, but he couldn't offer me any information.

Extremely rare piece.

Any idea on the module out on the K 250-4's specifications?

That jack Taps signal off of the first gain stage of the output driver board.
I think it outputs close to zero DB which should be enough to drive that Yamaha to close to max output.

Oh, it drives it GREAT!
Heck, it's louder than the 4 12 bottom!

One spec on the amp I found says something like input should be
-6dbm (?) for maximum volume.

- 65 DB is mic level, if you drive that with the Kustom you will blow out that Yamaha`s 1st gain stage.
If it does only need -65 DB you can Y cord your guitar right into it.

Yamaha wrote me and said that it's too old and they no longer have information on it.

The same amp is in their 100B model, and it states the input's nominal level is -6 dBm (.039 Vrms)Impedance 10 Ohm.
