Hello everyone. Just purchased my first Kustom a couple of weeks ago, a K100-1 with 2x12 bottom. K100 wasn't working, but was able to find the drawings, PC103, and repaired. Picked up a
K100-2 with a 2x12 bottom last night. Head works but has issues.
Looking to see if someone might have a schematic for the K100-2.
I believe from searches I have done that has a PC104 board.
If anyone has that schematic I would apreciate a copy. Hate to go poking around blindly. By the way both units I picked up are black. The K100-1 head and bottom were both in excellent condition, only 1 small tear on the bottom. The K100-2 head and bottom are in fair condition but I'm seriously considering redoing the tuck & roll myself. Probably charcal or cascade, have not decided yet.

Thanks Joe Treiber

Hey welcome to the place.

I don't have the schematic that you need, but I'm sure someone here will be able to send you one.

I'd love to see how the re-covering works out. I've always wanted to learn how to do that.

Again, welcome.

Hi Steve, I might take you up on the offer. Don is trying to email them to me. Unfortunately the email he sent was returned for some reason. Might have been to big. I asked him to check the size and try again. If he can't get the email to go thru
I would apreciate it if you could sent a copy. I'll let you know if I still need.

Thanks

Hi everyone, Don emailed a copy of the drawing. Very similar to the K100-1 except 1 channel and the addition of reverb and tremelo. Should be fairly easy to fix since I'm familar with teh K100-1. Thanks for all the help

Hi Steve. I haven't picked up the amp yet, probable tomorrow night, but the guy I got it from indicated the reverb didn't sound right and as he turned up the reverb level it reached a point where it pulled the guitar level down. I'm assuming theres a shorted component in the reverb circuit. Looks pretty straight forwrd from the schematic.

Thanks

That reverb control response may be normal. I haven't looked at the schematic yet, but most Kustom amps were designed so that when you turn up the reverb control, it increases the reverb signal and reduces the straight signal. More like a balance control.

Hey stevem, I could sure use that schematic as well. I've got an issue with my K100-2 I need to address. Man I'd sure appriciate it if you could email it to me at cassent5150@hotmail.com. Thanks Steve C

PS: Do you still need those challenger schematics with the updates and additions, as well as a couple of those 540L ICs I've got?
