Related to my previous thread from earlier this week (Argh! ANOTHER newbie needs ... ) I opened the back of the Kustom CTS cab I got with a K200 head, and found this:
The top speaker has these numbers:
And there's what looks like an attempted repair:
The bottom speaker (square magnet) has these numbers:
Can these be identified? And should I replace either or both?
Suggestions welcome and much appreciated. I'd like to use this for lead/rhythm moreso than bass.

The bottom photo is a CTS speaker and the top one in the first picture looks like a Altec, but I need the other numbers for the rim to be able to tell you for sure.

You are correct I don't know what I was thinking..LOL! It was late and maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me...it does look like a Jensen not an Altec.
The CTS is probably original to the cabinet, the top speaker is a replacement.
I can't tell what brand the replacement is, but the magnet doesn't look like a Jensen to me. The wrinkle finish is like a higher end Jensen, but I can't tell what it is without seeing more.

I haven't remounted the speakers yet; will post a couple more photos tonight. I've read where Fogerty used 2 x 15 JBL D130s and thought maybe I should go that route to best duplicate that sound.

It does. Thanks to all. Sounds like a bass setup. Guess I'll need to sub in something else to get something more Fogerty-esque, or leave this set up for bass and get another black TNR cab set up for guitar.

From the photo's it appears that your cabinet has the chrome plastic ports. The CTS speaker looks like it has seen better days. I would be concerned that it is missing some of the gasket material. I'd also check to see what impedance each speaker is. The silver framed CTS isn't original to that cabinet. If it is, there will be a kustom ink logo stamp on the frame.
If your driving the cabinet with a K200, the amp wants to see a total of 4 ohms. Going for the Fogerty sound, JBL's would be it. pleat.

Thanks, pleat. Yes, the ports are chrome plastic. And I don't doubt that the speakers have limited life/use (and some of the gasket material IS missing). But I figured that was likely when I got the head/cab, so I'm not too bummed about it. I got a good deal for both, and figured this would at least give me a cab that was black/charcoal TNR a la Creedence, and is structurally in pretty good shape. Looks like those JBLs are about $250 apiece, though
Didn't see any Kustom logo on the frame of the CTS.
Thanks again.

For replacement speakers you might consider Weber speakers. Their "California" series is advertised as a replacement for the JBL D-130F. They even have the aluminum voice coil covers and the cones look like the JBL's. I just looked, and the price is $235 each. Still fairly expensive, but if you find some D-130F's ( big word IF), and had to have them reconed you would have to spend mucho more. I have used Weber's before - they are all custom built and they do a wonderful job !

That top Jensen driver has a very big alinco magnet and is worth good chunk of money if it still works.
The new Jensen\Sica company out of Italy does not even manufacture a new Alinco magnet bass driver like that !
Its 100 watt rating spec during the era that it was made would be peak watts, not RMS.
