Hi,

I have a Kustom TNR K100-2 head with matching 2x12 Jensen in cascade color. The sound is just awesome but i think that the tremolo is very light in terms of presence and intensity is that common on this head ?
The intensity pot seems working past half side before i can't hear the effect ?

Thanks a lot for your answers
Regards
Jeremie from Paris

Welcome to the board.

Your amp has vibrato (pitch shift) rather than tremolo (volume change), so the effect is a little bit milder than the usual tremolo effect.

Thanks for your answer
It's a little strange because in my case it's more a volume change than a pitch shifter.
You say that the vibrato is milder, but is that normal that before 12:00 i can't hear the effect ?

thanks for your answer

You may have a problem in the circuit if it does sound like tremolo. That may also be why the control doesn't work until it is turned up to 12.

The vibrato circuit works by mixing two signals together. If one of the signals is missing it will work like a tremolo circuit.

In fact this is how the models that have the trem/vib mix controls works.
