Chicago Suburb Senior Member Hey gang ~ I watched the VH1 show on the Queens Back Yard Jam the other night ~ And once again there is this Old Guy on percusion ~ Not the drummer ~ This guys plays everything from tambourine to congas! Who the hell is he? I have seen him in most major concerts with every kind of band! Any info on this guy? And not one damn Kustom on stage! Jc Report message to a moderator

I'm not sure how old he is, but he's looked like that for a very long time, and has been a "percussion specialist" for a number of acts since the 70's, among them Elton John, Billy Joel, and Eric Clapton. The first time I saw him on TV in the 70's (Midnight Special or ABC's In Concert perhaps?) I thought it was somebody's Grampa up there playing away. He's now the type of pro who probably has an Anvil road case for his tamborine ;) !!!! Report message to a moderator
