I bought a Kustom Challenger recently. I don't know the age but It works fine. on the back near the top in the center is a small rectangular hole with a single wire sticking out. It says 200 watts maximum near the hole. Is this a danger. How can I fix it.

I'm not sure what wire would be sticking out, but the rectangular hole is where the 110v AC convience plug would have been located. I'd remove the two large screws that hold the chassis in place, slide out the amp towards the front and remove the top panel to investigate further. Let us know what you find out.

I removed the top panel and the black wire that I said is sticking out is coming off the on/off switch. The wire is stripped on the end. I also note that there is a white wire, also coming off the on/off switch that is loose and has some solder on the tip as if it has come loose from something. Is it possible that these two wires were once soldered together? I will say that the amp seems to be operating well...all functions. Thanks so much for your help. John
STOP! Those wires are the hot and neutral ac lines that were once connected to the missing convenience socket. They never were connected and should be taped off or removed before you use the amp again.
If you plan to replace the missing socket, carefully tape over the bare ends with some electrical tape until you get the new socket. If you are not replacing the socket carefully cut off the two wires at the power switch and then cover the panel hole.
Of course be sure that the amp is unplugged from the wall outlet before doing any of these things.

Tape has been known to come off at times and mostly when your hand is in there doing work with the amp live! so if you have not got to repair it yet head to a hardware store and pick up two of the small blue colored wire nuts and twist them on and then tape it up.
