Would like to know all I can about the Kustom Studio Series 2 valve 50 watt tube amp and 4-12 cabinet I just purchased. Seller claimed it was last amp built at Chanute and the 4-12 cabinet is rare. It did not have the foot switch and I think I need it to stop the phase effect from bleeding through on all the channels. Any info or advise is appreciated.

The footswitch is a 4 button that allows channel switching, turning off and on the Chorus, boost volume etc. It was the only tube amp Kustom ever made as far as the power amp section.

thanks for the info. If I shopped for this would It be called a foot switch for the studio series 50 watt tube head pre 1983, 4 button 7 pin, or is this like the wah pedal for the 250-4 easier to find someone to build it for me.

The footswitch might be easier to build than to find one for sale. I don't know how many pins are in the footswitch jack on the back panel, but the four switches are SPST and short to ground to make each effect turn on or turn off. I think the original footswitch may have had lights. The block diagram I have shows 15v to a light, but that may be for the amps indicator light.

Sorry Pleat, but there is not a Chorus on the studio-series. There is a flanger, and this is great!

You are right about the 7 pins conector on the back of the amp.
