This may be a stupid question , but what does the L stand for. I know if it was an N it means 50 watts and K is 100 watts. Could it mean 75 watts because L is between N and K ? thanks in advance.

Hello.
The wattage ratings you are appling to the speakers can only be used with the Jensen re-issue and new models that never where, like the C12K and C15K..
In the vintage Jensen model scheme The closer the letter used was to the letter A the bigger the magnet was and the wattage the driver was made to handle, made possible by a bigger voice coil diameter.
The C15L was the top of the model line 15" ceraimic magnet driver from the Concert serise that Jensen had back in the dayand it is at best a 50 watt driver, so to play it safe I would not pump more than 40 watts into it.

Which is the latest vintage Jensen model used? Do the same thing applicable for all time that "The closer the letter used was to the letter A the bigger the magnet was" or there are some exceptions to it.
