well, I've been experimenting...upgrading my old ways..added a nice electronic crossover to my rack and pulled th 500k chokes off my speakers in my 2x15 bass cabs. found some sweet spots in the crossover freq and hooked one of my 2x15s up to one of my K400PA heads with an Eminence 4 ohm total cab load and oh my goodness...twernt nothing shabby about what that little cab was pumping out. Its a big change in my tone and punch. I still may ultimately go for some Crown power, but then I'd have to upgrade my speakers as well, these are 200watt 8ohmers at about 96db sensitivity so pretty efficient to move, long throw cone edges..etc.etc...all I can say is, I'm gonna be a happy boy next week when I hook the system up..heck i'm gonna set the whole thing up in the driveway tommorrow...give the neigbors something to talk about...
