I was originally told this was a bass amp...but, have since been told that if it has reverb & tremolo, it is a guitar amp.

Yes it is a guitar amp, however it will work very well for a bass amp too. The K200B-1 is the bass amp and is the same amp it just doesn't have the effects. Plug into the RH side, into the "Low" jack and you are good to go.

Count Bassie, please note that the input jacks on the K100,thru the K400 models are for tonal changes( normal and brite) not gain/level changes as on many other amps as Fenders for example and the latter Kustom metal face K150 and K250 serise.
