I have a cascade K-150 bass combo and I am a guitar player so I would like to temporarily swap the current guts with K100 guts... Has anyone attempted this and if so what were the results?
THANKS!!

Unless you're wanting the effects (reverb, tremolo, etc), you probably won't notice any difference in the sound between the two.

Yeah, that what I'm after....not a big deal as I have everything on my pedalboard, but though it might be nice to do. Thanks!

A couple of things come to mind. The K100-7 (2x12) chassis is the same width as the K150-6 (1x15) chassis. You would have to carve out shelf the amp bolts to, as the speaker jack output is in a different location.
The lead channel on the K100-7 is a bright channel, so you won't have much full fat tone as you do on the K150-6.
I own both the K150-7 (2x12) and K150-8 amps (2x10) and I use the normal channel. The reverb/trem channel is just to bright and brittle sounding to my ears.

If your getting all your effects from your board, then your better off sticking with the K150, as preamp wise its the same as the 100, and the 150 has another 15 watts of clean power on hand.
