I'm looking to sell my all black Kustom K100-2 guitar head and cab.
I believe its circa 1968-ish.
I'm asking $500 for it.
Its in really good condition, save for some minor scuffs on the naugahyde, and everything on the amp works great.
The cab has the original Jensen speakers in it.
It was serviced, cleaned and some parts were replaced about 3 years ago.
I don't understand all the jargon, but i have the work invoice if you'd like to look it over.
Also, a 3-prong grounded AC plug was installed so i wouldn't keep getting shocked while playing and singing.
(That was always a fun surprise!)
If anyone is interested you can e-mail me: mikekickme@yahoo.com
Also, i'm willing to deliver it to you if you're in the general west philadelphia area.
However, i can't ship it elsewhere.
I apologize, but i currently don't have any pictures.
Someone lost the cable that connects the camera to the computer (i blame the cats.).
I really like this amp, but i doesn't have the right sound for the type of stuff i do on guitar these days.
I'll try to get some pics uploaded so you can read the work invoice and see the condition of the amp.
-Mike
P.S. I'll also throw in a 3-foot speaker cable i bought specifically for this amp.

Seller stated it's black. Have you tried the amp with some stomp boxes or a processor pedal? I've found Kustom amps come right to life with a processor pedal in front of it.
When i was playing with it regularly i used a Boss overdrive with it that sounded pretty good (albeit with a little feedback.
I found that it actually sounded louder at higher volumes without the stomp box then with it.
Unfortunately i don't have either a cover or a footswitch.

If you put a multi effect pedal or set of stomp boxes in front of it, you will not sell it and never buy anything else. Do not use the on board effects and use (looking at the front) right hand channel. A K50 will make a Marshall stack cry and is only 25 watts. A K100 is more than enough amp to play without using a mic anywhere you would play for any kind of music.
I do really like this amp and i hate parting with it, but i'm hurting financially so i need to sell it.
Also, i wanted to try to sell it to someone on here cos' i know whomever gets it will be as excited as i was when i bought it and it will have a nice home where it will be appreciated.
I think the built in effects sound really nice- especially the reverb.
