Hey guys I have my usual questions again. I saw listed a bass stereo chorus pedal on Music Go Round. What exactly does it do for the sound and are they worth the money. In my day all we had was the wah wah pedal and the fuzz box. Or does anyone suggest a pedal that will improve the sound......and my playing of my bass. Not going for the heavy metal sound.....just the classical 70's sound. Thanks for the help.

Have you searched YouTube for a demo of the particular pedal you're considering? The sound is such an abstract thing to try to describe, and there's an awfully wide range of tones from pedals that fit in the "chorus" (or any other) category. Or perhaps you can find a song wherein one is being used; either way, examples of some sort would be a necessity. Chorus on a bass is very much a "classic" sound, though, so it (or a general idea of it, anyway) wouldn't be as hard to find as one of a bassist using distortion or wha. The only effect more commonly used on bass, I would think, would be compression. Or you could just do what I do and snag it and find/create a use for whatever sound it makes.
